Daily Health Tip

I came across this daily health tip and thought it to be an interesting quote worth contemplation and research.

According to Jonny Bowden, for every one pound of weight lost, there is a four pound reduction in the load exerted on the knee for each step taken during daily activities.

Here's a link to Jonny Bowden in case you  are wondering...I like some of his information.  His top 15 foods to always have in the house are a favorite although I am off grains these days, so #9 Oatmeal, would not be on my list and #13 Yogurt not so much, but I'll do Kefir every now and again.

Jonny's top 5 drinks include raw milk (not for me) and coffee.  I use Dandy Blend, a fabulous coffee alternative and I love the stuff.

I am not sure how I can personally apply this to my own weight loss results, but I sure do like the idea! Has anyone else had any experience with this?  I would love to hear your comments!
