Dehydration 12 - 18 hours
1.5 bunches of kale (literally, buy 2 bunches but only use 1.5)
2 c. cashews
3/4 c. maple syrup
2/3 c. cacao powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pinch of salt
* essential oil (EO) optional; please use EO intended for internal use/certified pure therapeutic grade (CPTG)
Take the ribs out of the kale, rinse, pat dry
*Process the remaining ingredients until smooth.
Cover the kale with the mixture and place on dehydrator sheets.
Dehydrate for 12 to 18 hours until crisp.
*Add essential oils one drop at a time until desired flavor is achieved. Peppermint and orange are fun choices.
Try to cover as much of the kale as possible. It makes it easier for someone to try...once they are over the kale factor, the rest is history!
